Abstract
This book features a photo display of Southern Inuit Children of NunstuKavut, on the southeastern coast of Labrador. In NunatuKavut, people continue to live off the land ,sea, and seasons have always guided their way of life.

In addition to the photos, the book contains writings about certain aspects of each season: birds in the spring, fish in he summer, berries in the fall, and ice and snow in the Winter. The writings provide descriptions of the environment that can be linked to the activities displayed in the photos.

Children are involved in activities that reflect the skills and knowledge passed on by their families and communities. These photos of children, from both the past and the present , show children's lives through the generations. You will see pictures of the children on the land, playing , hunting, fishing, knitting and picking berries. The children's culture is grounded in their connection to the land, sea and ice and to their ancestors before them.

This book celebrates the children of NunatuKavut and showcases some of their cultural activities by season. It is a resource for the children of Labrador as well as a source of information for the children who live in other regions. It is a project of knowledge shared through children for children.

Enjoy!
