Abstract
Craft Exhibitions have played a vital role in the development of handicrafts in Newfoundland and Labrador. During the 70's ,regional craft competitions were held annually and the sparked a lively and growing interest in a great number of participants.
In organizing this exhibition we are enriching this tradition by focusing on a theme, "Let there be light....and Color!." Our aim has been to stimulate the creativity and imagination of out artisans , and by so doing inspire work that is "of the hands", but which touched the spirit and soul.
